Zach Davidson's name has been popping up throughout the summer.

At training camp, the under-the-radar player has made some waves. He's pushing to take the No. 3 tight end position on the Bills roster behind top targets Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.

In recent years, Quintin Morris has held that role and been a valuable piece for Buffalo thanks to his versatility. But Davidson does have a unique background that is worth rooting for.

Davidson never really meant to play football. Now he's in the NFL.
