Knicks sign center Moses Brown to Exhibit 10 contract, waive Boo Buie

The Knicks have signed center Moses Brown to an Exhibit 10 contract.

In a corresponding move, recently-signed guard Boo Buie was waived.

Brown played in 24 games for the Trail Blazers last season, averaging 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per game.

The 24-year-old spent some time with the Knicks in 2022-23, when he was on a two-way contract.

During his six NBA seasons, Brown has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Nets, and Los Angeles Clippers.

Buie, 24, played with the Phoenix Suns in the Summer League in Las Vegas and averaged 9.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.4 rebounds while averaging over 21 minutes over five games.

The 6-foot-2 guard went undrafted out of Northwestern University after he led the Wildcats to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time in program history.

Last season, his fifth in college, Buie averaged 18.9 points, 5.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 36.6 minutes per game with 31 starts. He also earned the Lefty Driesell Defensive Player of the Year award.

Buie left the school as the program's all-time leading scorer (2,187 points). Buie, an Albany, NY native, earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in each of the last two seasons.
