Knicks fan probably regrets getting Zion Williamson tattoo
The world of sports fandom is filled with zealous fans getting unfortunate tattoos.
This is one of them.
Optimistic Knicks fan
One presumed New York Knicks fan prepared for Tuesday’s NBA draft lottery by getting some extremely optimistic ink in anticipation of landing the right to draft Duke superstar Zion Williamson.
She probably should have waited before getting this tattooed on her 🤣pic.twitter.com/UCyUHHngBo

Knicks don’t win
The Knicks, in fact, did not win the lottery. The New Orleans Pelicans did and will presumably select the electric power forward with the No. 1 pick in June’s draft.
The Knicks secured the No. 3 pick, and will likely have a shot at Murray State point guard Ja Morant or Williamson’s former Duke teammate R.J. Barrett.
New York had the best odds to win the lottery along with the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers.
But even considering that fact, our tattoo hero still only held a 14 percent chance — the odds of the Knicks winning the lottery — of being correct with her presumably permanent ink.
Permanent ink?
It raises the obvious question. Is the tattoo actually real? Or is it a fake attempt to get some real attention on social media.
More video of the ink being applied implies that indeed it is legit.

Of course the presence of a tattoo needle is far from definitive proof of an actual tattoo.
But we’ve seen a lot dumber things on the internet, so this is certainly not outside the realm of plausibility.
