It doesn’t look as if Kevin Durant will be taking the court again anytime soon.
An MRI on Friday revealed that the Warriors forward suffered an incomplete rib cartilage fracture, and will miss at least two weeks.

Durant said that he worked out on Friday morning, but felt stiffness and discomfort in his shoulder. Golden State coach Steve Kerr decided to hold him out as a precautionary measure, and scheduled the MRI.
“I’ve been hit in the ribs before, so I just thought it was just a little contusion,” Durant said Friday. “Obviously I kept playing. It was a little sore the next couple of days, but not something I would worry about. Then the last game, I went to close out on the wing and I felt something stretch and pull and I felt some discomfort.”

Durant will be evaluated again in two weeks, and will likely miss the rest of March for Golden State — including a key game against the San Antonio Spurs.
