Shout out to Kenny Vaccaro. The former New Orleans Saints first-round pick made the Play of the Day in our countdown to kickoff. With 32 days to go until Week 1's matchup with the Carolina Panthers, we're looking to a huge play from a player who wore No. 32 in another season-opening game with an NFC South rival.

We've timestamped it so you can see the play for yourself here, but the full highlight reel is worth watching. This was a classic game in the Saints-Falcons rivalry, featuring big plays by both teams on offense and defense. And it was a hard-fought victory; Atlanta jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, and it quite literally came down to the final play.

It was Vaccaro saving the day. Only up by six points while defending the end zone from their own 3-yard line, the Saints defense lined up against Atlanta's offense on fourth-and-goal with just 49 seconds left to play. It was all or nothing. Matt Ryan hesitated under pressure, then he sailed a pass so high into the end zone where only Tony Gonzalez could go get it -- well, almost.

Vaccaro, the rookie, deflected the ball away from the Hall of Fame tight end and veteran safety Roman Harper picked it off. The Saints walked off with a win, kicking off what would be a great year for a fanbase and a team that really needed it.
