Kansas football recruiting class: Meet Jayhawks’ incoming signees for 2024

LAWRENCE — Signing day on Wednesday will provide another opportunity to evaluate how well Kansas football’s 2024 recruiting class stacks up against its competition in the Big 12 Conference in elsewhere.

The Jayhawks aren’t expected to add any more high school or junior college signees on scholarship this week. The 17 announced in December during the early signing period, in addition to a transfer talent from the portal, formed a solid base the coaching staff is complimenting with more collegiate transfers.

But in an ever-evolving landscape, it’s a valuable point of comparison.

As of Wednesday at about 5 p.m. (CT), Kansas’ signing class was ranked 45th overall by 247Sports — seventh among teams in the new-look Big 12. That’s a combination of who the Jayhawks are bringing in as signees and transfer portal additions. There are five other transfers who bring the total size of the recruiting class to 23.

Here’s a look back at the December signees who aren’t making their way to Kansas through the transfer portal:
