Josh Allen shoulder injury: Will Bills quarterback be ready for showdown against Dolphins?
Josh Allen lowered his shoulder to pick up a first down that clinched a rigorous 27-21 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The Bills quarterback plans to be ready next week when Buffalo can clinch the AFC East.
“Little stinger," Allen told reporters after the game. "Never felt one of those before. Felt funky. I’m alright.”
Allen said he's "good to go."
Allen plowed into cornerback Jalen Mills with less than two minutes left. Safety Kyle Dugger came in to finish off the tackle, wrapping up Allen's neck with his left arm and driving Allen's left shoulder into the ground.
Allen got to his feet, signaled to coaches that he was coming out of the game, and walked to the sideline. Trainers looked at Allen's left shoulder. Backup quarterback Kyle Allen entered for two kneel downs to end the game.
Buffalo travels to Miami in the regular season finale. The winner will capture the division title.
