Can Jerome Ford exploit a favorable matchup in Week 5?

Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Tera Roberts explains why fantasy managers should trust the Cleveland RB in Week 5.

The bad news for Jerome Ford is that Nick Chubb's practice window is opening and he will be returning to play soon, but not necessarily this week.

If Chubb remains sideline Ford gets an excellent match up this week against a Washington defense that has struggled to stop the run.

And if you're worried about the possibility of Jay Daniels jumping out to an early lead on this Cleveland defense, which hasn't been particularly good early on this season.

Have no fear game script has not been an issue for Ford.

He has seen a significant increase in check down from Deshaun Watson including seven receptions on seven targets last week against Vegas Ford hasn't been a high volume back, so don't expect him to get 20 carries here, but I like him for a solid season high of 15 attempts over 80 rushing yards and a touchdown plus five receptions to give him his first top 12 finish of the year.
