Jazz sign Celtics guard Svi Mykhailiuk to 4-year deal

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Sports) – The Utah Jazz made their second free agent signing of the summer, inking Boston Celtics guard Svi Mykhailiuk to a 4-year deal with $15 million, as first reported by ESPN.

Mykhailiuk, a 6-foot-7 shooting guard, played in 41 games for the NBA champions, averaging 4.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.

Mykhailiuk has played in 293 career NBA games with the Lakers, Detroit, Oklahoma City, Toronto, Charlotte, New York with career averages of 6.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

His highest scoring average was 10.6 points in 19 games with the Hornets in the 2022-23 season after being traded from the Knicks.

He spent his most time in the NBA with the Pistons. Across three seasons, Mykhailiuk played in 95 games, averaging 20 minutes a night.

Mykhailiuk is a career 40.4 percent shooter from the field, 36.3 percent from three-point range.

Mykhailiuk was drafted out of Kansas by the Lakers in the late second round of the 2018 NBA Draft.

Jazz trade guard Kris Dunn to L.A. Clippers

The Jazz signed forward Drew Eubanks to a two-year free agent deal last month.
