Jacksonville Jaguars draft picks 2021: Round-by-round selections
Here is a 2021 NFL draft pick-by-pick breakdown for the Jacksonville Jaguars:
Round 1 (No. 1 overall) - Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson: Widely regarded as a generational prospect on par with John Elway, Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck, it's been widely assumed for years that Lawrence would be the first player picked in this draft – the only question was which team would get him. Turns out, that's the Jags, a franchise that needs a spark on the field after a 1-15 campaign and in the seats. Lawrence's presumed arrival also likely spurred college coaching legend Urban Meyer to come aboard. Draft tracker
Round 1 (25, from Rams) - Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson: The Jags keep Etienne paired with Lawrence, his Clemson teammate for three years. Etienne was a 1,600-yard rusher in both 2018 and 2019 but also caught 85 passes over the past two seasons. He'll join a timeshare with last year's surprise Jacksonville rookie, James Robinson, though it stands to reason that Etienne could wind up getting the bulk of the touches. Draft tracker
Round 2 (33) - Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia: Not a ton of production in terms of turning the ball over for the Bulldogs, but you can't teach sub-4.4 speed or a willingness to tackle. Gives the Jags a nice nickel package with CJ Henderson and newly signed Shaquill Griffin. Draft tracker
Round 2 (45, from Vikings) - Walker Little, OT, Stanford: Massive at 6-7 and 313 pounds, he's got all the talent in the world but suffered a torn ACL in 2019 and opted out last year. Projects as the successor to Jags LT Cam Robinson, who's playing on the franchise tag in 2021. Walker should be a good long-term investment as Trevor Lawrence's blind side sentinel. Draft tracker
Round 3 (65) - Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse: He had 12 INTs between the 2018 and 2019 seasons, but a torn ACL ruined the former all-ACC performer's final year with the Orange. But fully healthy, he could be an upgrade in center field for the Jags. Draft tracker
Round 4 (106) - Jay Tufele, DT, USC
Round 4 (121, from Raiders through Rams) - Jordan Smith, LB, Alabama-Birmingham
Round 5 (145) - Luke Farrell, TE, Ohio State
Round 6 (209, from Rams) - Jalen Camp, WR, Georgia Tech

2018 (No. 29 overall): Taven Bryan, DT, Florida
