Ja Morant leaves Grizzlies game vs Lakers after hard fall under basket on alley-oop attempt
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant left the game and went to the locker room after taking a hard fall under the basket on an alley-oop attempt in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Morant attempted to catch an alley-oop pass from Jake LaRavia before appearing to be bumped while jumping into the air. Morant fell hard to the floor and stayed down as play continued.

After the Lakers made a basket on the next possession, Morant signaled to the Grizzlies coaching staff to remove him from the game. He gingerly walked off the floor before heading to the locker room.
He is doubtful to return due to a right hamstring injury, per the Grizzlies.
Morant returned to the bench by the start of the fourth quarter, but he has not re-entered the game.
