A.J. Brown injury update: What to know about Philadelphia Eagles WR's knee
Philadelphia Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown went down with an apparent knee injury in the first quarter of Sunday's 24-3 loss against the New York Giants.
Brown, the former Ole Miss star who played his first three seasons with the Tennessee Titans, caught a slant pass late in the first quarter and was tackled to the ground. He immediately began gripping his right knee with both hands.

Losing Brown, in his fifth NFL season, would be a huge blow for the Super Bowl-hopeful Eagles, as Brown entered the game ranking third in the league in receiving yards (1,447) on 105 receptions with seven touchdowns.
Brown was initially ruled questionable to return by the Eagles before he was later ruled out of the game.

After catching a slant pass late in the first quarter of the Eagles' game against the Giants on Sunday, Brown was tackled to the ground and instantly gripped his right knee with both hands as he was on the ground.
Brown eventually got up and was later seen walking into the locker room under his own power. The Eagles eventually ruled Brown out for the game, after initially deeming him questionable to return.

However, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Brown's injury appears to be not serious. The star receiver was also seen greeting his teammates as they entered the locker room with a sleeve over his right leg.
