Interviewing the fake Jaylen Brown at TD Garden
Have you noticed a version of star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown at TD Garden recently that just seemed…off? You are not alone, or going mad — there is a fake Jaylen Brown out there impersonating the Celtics star at Boston’s home games.
That imposter, Josh Griffith, began dressing up as the Georgia native in a full Celtics uniform after a friend dared him to and many told him he looked like the Boston star. Griffith sat behind the Celtics bench on last Monday night as Boston won vs. the Detroit Pistons, and he thinks some Boston players noticed him, while many others took pictures.
CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning took a moment to interview the fake JB to learn more about what sparked this uncanny impersonation.
