Team Penske teammates Scott McLaughlin and Josef Newgarden grabbed poles for the Hy-Vee Milwauke Mile 250s doubleheader IndyCar race weekend at The Milwaukee Mile.

As the pair both set aim for their third -- and potentially fourth -- wins of the season, Penske teammate Will Power starts just a few spots back (5th in Race 1; 4th in Race 2) still with a reasonable chance to put additional pressure on championship points leader Alex Palou heading into the season-finale Sept. 15 at Nashville Superspeedway. Currently, Palou (who starts 12th Race 1; 10th Race 2) holds a 54-point cushion on Power, a 67-point lead on Colton Herta (10th Race 1; 18th Race 2) and 88 on McLaughlin (1st Race 1; 2nd Race 2).

There are still three races remaining in the regular season heading into Saturday's Race 1 of the doubleheader race minutes outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
