Despite taking the first punch in the game against Michigan State, North Carolina bounced back and went on a 23-3 run to end the first half. UNC took that 9-point into halftime at 40-31, changing the momentum of the game.

In the second half, they fought off another run from Michigan State. They did on both ends of the court, hitting shots and playing good defense as they went on to win the game. It was a hard-fought win for the Tar Heels who are now heading to Los Angeles for the Sweet 16 and will face off against either Alabama or Grand Canyon.

The Tar Heels are in a position to make another run to hopefully cut down the nets in Phoenix. But before we look ahead, head coach Hubert Davis met the media to break down what he saw from his team on Saturday night.
