Former U.S. Soccer star Hope Solo is pregnant with twins. Solo, 38, announced the news while co-hosting a beIN Sports show.

Solo revealed she’s having a boy and a girl. She joked that a “miniature soccer team” is on the way.

The news comes just months after Solo revealed she had a miscarriage in 2018. Solo was running for president of the United States Soccer Federation at the time. Solo had one of her fallopian tubes removed due to an ectopic pregnancy. Solo was also pregnant with twins in 2018. Solo said she was “hours from dying.”

Solo and her husband — former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens — have been trying to get pregnant for some time. Shortly after the miscarriage in 2018, Solo told Elle magazine she started in vitro fertilization.
