Highlights from New Orleans Saints' preseason opener vs. Cardinals

The highlights from the New Orleans Saints' preseason opener with the Arizona Cardinals feature a lot of defensive difference-makers, with players like defensive end Carl Granderson, linebacker Willie Gay Jr. and defensive tackle Bryan Bresee making their presence felt. Rookie cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry came through in some big spots, too. Say what you will about Dennis Allen's teams but he's consistently built strong defenses.

With that said, this was a solid debut for Spencer Rattler. He scored the first touchdown of his Saints career and commanded a two-minute situation at the end to set up a game-winning field goal for Charlie Smyth. The rookie quarterback just needs to keep building on this momentum:
