Texas A&M (6-1, 4-0 SEC) enters Week 9 on a six-game winning after dropping the season opener vs. Notre Dame, as head coach Mike Elko's culture has been established in College Station, resulting in consistent improvement on both sides of the ball.

After defeating Mississippi State on the road 34-24, Texas A&M's defense struggled to keep the Bulldogs at bay in the first half. Still, after Elko and DC Jay Bateman's second-half adjustments took hold, the Aggies looked like the 14th-ranked team, eliminating any offensive production from the home team.

Starting quarterback Conner Weigman struggled most of the afternoon, throwing two interceptions while his field vision was spotty at best. However, the redshirt sophomore made several game-changing plays, including an early fade route to junior wide receiver Noah Thomas for the Aggie's first touchdown.

Moving on to LSU, the speculation this week around Texas A&M's uniform choice, as the rumors of a blackout have now been confirmed by the head coach himself, as Mike Elko took to X telling Aggie fans that the blackout is indeed happening. The uniform will be confirmed on Thursday afternoon.

Texas A&M will host LSU at home on Saturday, Oct. 26th, at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on ABC.
