How have NBA contracts evolved over the years? Hall of Fame Boston Celtics legends Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce took some time on a recent episode of their Showtime Basketball "KG Certified" podcast to talk it over in a recent episode, drawing from their own extensive experience putting their respective John Hancocks on the dotted line, as well as what they have seen in their peers following in their footsteps in the years after they left the league.

The so-called "Fun Max" or "mini-max" -- the tier 1 max contract players first qualify for off their rookie deals -- in particular is of interest for these two. Pierce and KG offer some sage contract wisdom to the next generation as well.
