🇺🇸 Girma bags brace as USWNT cruise in friendly Argentina win

The United States women's national team kept their win streak going with a comfortable win against Argentina in a friendly Wednesday evening.

Scorers: Girma 37', 49', Cometti 44' (OG)

It was another night of rotation as a number of players entered the fray for the first time on this international break.

USWNT boss Emma Hayes was rewarded for her selection as Girma bagged her first ever USWNT goal before an Aldana Cometti own-goal gave the home side a two-goal lead going into the break.

After the restart it was much of the same for the Stars and Stripes, and it was Girma again who etched her name into the scoresheet for the second time on the evening to truly put the U.S. in cruise control.

It was a superb international break for the United States, who won their three friendlies by a combined score of 9-2.
