The New York Giants entered Monday night as near-touchdown underdogs on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The game was an absolute flag fest and although the Giants continued to beat themselves with foolish penalties all game long, it definitely seemed as though the referees missed some calls that should have gone in the Giants' favor. That includes a missed pass interference on a deep pass intended for Malik Nabers and a missed roughing the punter call on a play that ended with a Steelers touchdown.

2023 first-round pick Deonte Banks, whose effort has been the unfortunate topic of conversation in recent weeks, made a very nice play to prevent a touchdown by George Pickens. However, Banks would be benched and finish the game on the sidelines.

The Giants defense did not do enough to make Russell Wilson uncomfortable and Wilson looked like the vintage Russell Wilson from his days with the Seahawks.

One of the few bright spots in the game for the Giants was running back Tyrone Tracy who had a 45-yard touchdown.

The offense continued its struggles and the offensive line did not fare well against a tough Pittsburgh defensive line.

The Giants defense forced a turnover late in the fourth quarter down by eight and had their final two possessions in Steelers territory end in turnovers to end the game.

With the loss, the Giants drop to 2-6 on the season. Here's how X reacted.
