Aaron Rodgers makes cameo on 'Game of Thrones,' but people aren't sure where
After dropping some heavy hints and later basically confirming he would appear on “Game of Thrones,” Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers finally made his cameo on the final season of the HBO megahit.
Rodgers made the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance during the penultimate episode of the series, “The Bells.” That’s about all we definitively know, however, as people can’t seem to exactly figure out which scene the quarterback appeared in.
Spoilers for Sunday’s episode of “Game of Thrones” follow, but you were hopefully smart enough to know that.
Where was Aaron Rodgers on ‘Game of Thrones’?
There are two scenes in which fans seemed to find Rodgers in the episode. Some saw him as an archer in formation during the early stages of the battle for King’s Landing.

Others thought they saw the quarterback burned to a crisp when a certain character decided to start burning down the city and the people inside it.

There was even speculation that both characters could have been Rodgers, the idea probably being his archer character fled in terror during the battle.
So either @AaronRodgers12 was a Lannister archer or that dude that just got burned by himself or both idk. pic.twitter.com/4tnKSKCVKB

So, was Rodgers the archer, the human charcoal, or both? Funnily enough, the answer could actually be ... neither.
During a making-of feature released alongside “The Bells,” Rodgers is actually interviewed in costume during his cameo.

“I was helping a woman who was injured, set her down, and then, the hell with her, I’m getting outta there,” Rodgers said during the feature.
That costume and description don’t seem to match either scene presented as Rodgers’ cameo, so the mystery deepens. Deadspin and a different Twitter user believed they found Rodgers in another scene where Arya Stark tries to get a family to safety from a large scaly creature.
I don’t think any of the Aaron Rodgers GOT clips that are going around right now are him. In the behind the scenes he says he’s “helping a woman” and he’s got a beard and a red hat. After some deep investigating I think he’s the dude dragging someone behind Arya in this clip: pic.twitter.com/iniKiY9m5t

And then another Game of Thrones extra chimed in saying his character was killed trying to save Stark and Rodgers.
So here we are. Rodgers was definitely in “The Bells” but the pure chaos that engulfed the second half of the episode has no one really knowing where he actually popped up.
Maybe we’ll get a definitive answer from the man himself soon. However, due to his previously stated rules, we might have to wait until Monday night.
24 hour rule still applies folks, for all those who thought there were better things to do tonight than watch @GameOfThrones #iwaswatching #4moreepisodes #episode5shouldbegood #
