The No. 12 Seminoles were set to travel to Eugene on Wednesday to play four games Friday and Saturday against Mount St. Mary's, Maryland, Washington and Oregon. However, the trip is off due to weather and travel complications.
The weekend forecast calls for a mixture of showers and snow, according to Weather.com. Temperatures were expected to be in the low 40s.
"I think sometimes it's outdoor sports, you kind of have to go with the flow and Mother Nature always wins," FSU head coach Lonni Alameda said at a media availability Tuesday.
"In our case, and so we're just trying to be smart on the part of going across country, knowing what the weather forecasts are."
FSU (11-3) is coming off a 6-0 weekend at the Dugout Club Classic held at JoAnne Graf Field, led by dominant weekends from Michaela Edenfield and Jaysoni Beachum.
Oregon and FSU agreed to extend their game contract to 2025, and FSU will travel to Eugene to play the Ducks next season.
