FSU football quarterback Jordan Travis provides multiple updates on Instagram after injury
After leaving Florida State's game against North Alabama late in the first quarter on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium, being carted off the field and into an ambulance, quarterback Jordan Travis provided multiple updates via Instagram on his status.
"What's up y'all. It's Jordan. Just wanted to let y'all know that I'm doing good and feeling good," Travis said on his Instagram story on Sunday morning. "I've got a smile on my face. I'm just going to follow God's plan. God has a journey for me. I'm going to trust him every step of the way. I appreciate y'all for all the messages. Go Noles."
Following a "hip-drop" tackle from UNA's Shaun Myers with just under two minutes left in the first quarter, Travis stayed down and was eventually taken off on a cart with what appeared to be a severe leg injury. Tate Rodemaker took over at quarterback, eventually leading FSU to a 58-13 win.
Freshman Brock Glenn also got into the game in the fourth quarter and scored his first career touchdown. Travis posted to his Instagram story, watching the game from the hospital and gave Glenn a shoutout after he had scored.
"Hell yeah @b1glenn congratulations brother," Travis posted on his story Saturday night.
Travis also reacted to Quindarrius Jones' touchdown off a blocked field goal to end the game.
"Block that (expletive). Hell yeah. Go score, go score, go score. Yes sir. Yes sir," Travis said as he reacted to Jones's touchdown.
Wide receiver Johnny Wilson and offensive linemen Maurice Smith and Bryson Estes went to visit Travis in the hospital after the game and he posted a video with the three of them on his story.
He also complimented his mother, taking a video of her adjusting some padding around Travis' foot and shared a post from @trustgodbro saying "Jesus heals".

FSU head coach Mike Norvell, defensive back Jarrian Jones and defensive lineman Dennis Briggs, Jr. all made comments regarding Travis's injury that can be read here.
The Seminoles face Florida on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, in Gainesville at 7 p.m. It's likely that the Gators will also be without their starting quarterback as Graham Mertz left Florida's game against Missouri early with a collarbone injury. The Tigers won the game 33-31.
