FSU football to move to Jacksonville's Everbank due to field concerns

Florida State football is in Jacksonville for two days of preseason practices, but it won't be at the University of North Florida.

The Seminoles will practice at Everbank Stadium, home to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Wednesday due to field condition concerns after a recent storm.

FSU coach Mike Norvell said in his Monday post-practice interview that there are options if the Seminoles are unable to practice at UNF.

"We do have a continuous plan of potentially practicing indoors if we need to," Norvell said.

"We're going to see the fields. We’ll see what all that looks like as much of this trip. We're going to work our butts off when we get there more than anything else."

The Seminoles will return on Friday. FSU's second scrimmage will be on Saturday. It is closed to the public.
