Omarion Hampton outgained the entire FSU football team. Here's how fans reacted

Every time it doesn't seem like the Florida State football season can get worse, somehow it does.

FSU is now 1-8, and they played like it in a 35-11 home loss to North Carolina. UNC coach Mack Brown picked up his first win in 12 tries against his alma mater.

Quarterback Brock Glenn completed a 33-yard pass on the Seminoles' second possession. That was their only completion of the half, as Glenn and freshman Luke Kromenhoek combined to go 1 of 5. The two have also been sacked five times, with Beau Atkinson contributing 3½ all by himself. The Tar Heels pass rush was technically just keeping its own pace, as they had 10 sacks last week against Virginia (they would finish with seven against FSU).

Florida State did pick up the passing game in the second half, with Glenn finishing with 123 yards and a touchdown. But the entire team was outgained by UNC running back Omarion Hampton, who had 265 total yards against the Seminoles' 201.

FSU fans seem to have had it with Mike Norvell and the 'Noles. A season that began with College Football Playoff expectations will end without so much as a bowl game, and a loss Saturday will cement its worst season since before Bobby Bowden took over in 1977.

FSU fans react to UNC game

One Florida State went as far as to pre-emptively congratulate FCS team Charleston Southern on their future win vs. the Seminoles (the two play Nov. 23).

Here's a look at how FSU fans are coping on social media:

The Seminoles play at No. 9 Notre Dame next week, so it can get worse.
