Frankie Muniz, ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ actor, earns full-time NASCAR Truck Series ride

Frankie Muniz is moving up in the NASCAR world.

The former “Malcolm in the Middle” actor has landed a full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ride with Reaume Brothers Racing for the 2025 season. He will drive the No. 33 Ford truck, the team announced Tuesday.

Muniz, 38, has raced full-time in the ARCA Menards Series and made two starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the Truck Series this year. His best result was 29th in the Sept. 27 Trucks race at Kansas Speedway.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Reaume Brothers Racing full-time in 2025,” Muniz said in a statement. “My longstanding relationship with Ford has been a game changer, and I am thrilled to help facilitate additional support allowing us to tap into their exceptional technical and engineering resources. I’m confident that this synergy will elevate Reaume Brothers Racing and help us achieve great things together. I can’t wait to get started.”

Muniz has been racing in limited events in the Mustang Challenge Series along with his NASCAR events. He is scheduled to race this weekend at Homestead-Miami.

Reaume Brothers Racing was founded in 1997 as a competitive kart racing team and made its way to NASCAR in 2018.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Frankie to our team full-time and to expand our relationship with Ford Performance,” team owner Josh Reaume said. “Their support has been invaluable, and we believe that with Frankie’s passion and our collective momentum from this year, we can make significant strides in the upcoming season.”

The team also announced that More Core Diamond Drilling Services and Nugget Trap will serve as a primary sponsor for Muniz for 10 races in 2025.
