Four UNC basketball players earn All-ACC honors

After a 17-3 record in Atlantic Coast Conference play to win the regular season title outright, the North Carolina Tar Heels are being recognized for some achievements this season.

Four Tar Heels earned All-ACC honors by the conference on Monday, headlined by RJ Davis being named Player of the Year and making the First Team.

Davis was joined by his teammates as Armando Bacot was named to the second-team All-ACC, Harrison Ingram to the third-team All-ACC and Elliot Cadeau to the All-Freshman team for the program. Hubert Davis also was named the ACC Coach of the Year as the conference prepares for the annual tournament this week in Washington D.C.

Bacot was also named to the All-Defensive team by the conference as well.

Backed behind the four, all starters, North Carolina raced out to an ACC-best 17-3 record this year. All four players had a big impact in UNC having that record and their push now to the NCAA Tournament.
