Four-star RB Shekai Mills-Knight commits to Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin over Alabama, Tennessee
OXFORD — The Ole Miss football's 2025 recruiting class added another member on Saturday with the commitment of Tennessee running back Shekai Mills-Knight.
The 6-foot-1, 217-pound senior at Baylor School in Chattanooga is a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite. He is ranked the No. 252 overall recruit in the cycle, the No. 17 running back and the No. 6 player in Tennessee.
He chose Ole Miss over a final group that included Alabama, Auburn, Miami and Tennessee. He also reported offers from Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and Mississippi State.
Announcing his commitment via Instagram Live, Mills-Knight became the 15th member of the Ole Miss Class of 2025, which ranked 34th in the country prior to his pledge.
He gives the class its first running back following the decommitment of Mississippi five-star Akylin Dear, who pledged to the Rebels in March before backing off in June. Dear is set to announce his commitment on Tuesday, choosing from a final three of Ole Miss, Alabama and Mississippi State.
