Former Steeler showing his true colors with new team already?
The reason the Pittsburgh Steelers traded wide receiver Diontae Johnson this past offseason wasn't because he can't play. It's because his talent did not outweigh the potential problems he brought to the roster both on and off the field.
However, after trading Johnson to the Carolina Panthers, he only made it through half of a season before the Panthers fire sale sent him packing to the Baltimore Ravens. However, it sounds like all isn't great for Johnson. On Thursday night, against the Cincinnati Bengals, Johnson only played five snaps.
This seemingly caused Johnson to take to social media to air his grievances and make sure people know the reason he didn't play much isn't what you think.
Johnson had one reception on his five snaps Thursday night. Johnson caught the final pass of the game but was unable to get out of bounds and stop the clock after being tackled by another former Steelers, cornerback Mike Hilton.
