Fisher spent the last seven-plus seasons of his 18-year career with the Predators, for whom he was voted captain in 2016, one year before he helped the franchise to its only Stanley Cup Final appearance.

Fisher had 111 goals and 130 assists in 429 regular-season games with the Predators before retiring for good in May 2018.

Fisher works with several charitable organizations and hosts an annual celebrity clay shoot to benefit Middle Tennessee nonprofit organizations.

Former Middle Tennessee State baseball player Steve Smith, Bristol Motor Speedway co-founder Carl R. Moore, and Olympic gold medalist Tianna Madison, who went to Tennessee, will join Fisher in the 2023 class, which will be announced in full in the coming weeks.

The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 22 at the Omni Nashville Downtown.
