Florida State's Tatum Bethune made sacrifices to improve his game, including ice cream | The NoleBook
Florida State linebacker Tatum Bethune could've easily been mistaken for World Wrestling Entertainment (WEE) champion Roman Reigns Sunday.
Reigns' trademark move is "The Spear," essentially tackling his opponent out of midair.
In Sunday's game against LSU at Orlando's Camping World Stadium, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels scrambled and tried to leap two FSU defenders.
However, he was imminently met in the air by a charging Bethune.
"That's every linebacker's dream," Bethune said.

The tackle highlighted a monster game for Bethune and FSU's linebacker room. He finished with a team-leading nine tackles.
DJ Lundy and Kalen DeLoach each had three tackles and combined for 1.5 sacks. It was an opening season statement for a room that had some doubt coming into the season.
Bethune knew that he had to step up this year and made multiple sacrifices in order to get in the best position to lead. He started dieting, switching out ice cream, one of his favorite foods, for salads.
"During the offseason, we all worked hard. DeLo worked on his weaknesses, I worked on mine and Lundy worked on his," Bethune said. "Me and Lundy had to go on a little diet, watch our weight and turn our bodies around. We just went out there and told ourselves we've invested too much to play bad."
Bethune he misses ice cream, his favorite flavor is cookies and cream, but he feels like he's in better physical shape from last season.
"I feel way better. We've been taking care of our bodies and stuff like that," Bethune said. "I felt like that was the biggest thing. I've been playing a lot of football and I feel like that's going to be a big factor this year."
