Florida State football legacy, 2024 wide receiver Camdon Frier commits to the Seminoles
Florida State bolstered its 2024 recruiting class with a legacy addition Saturday.
Camdon Frier - a 2024 wide receiver and the son of former FSU wide receiver Matt Frier - announced his commitment Saturday afternoon at the end of a weekend visit to Tallahassee.
Frier, a rising junior at Live Oak Suwannee, already stands 5-foot-11.5 and weighs 175 pounds. FSU was the first school to offer him in December of 2020. He camped at FSU and then took an unofficial visit last June.
His only other listed offer, per 247Sports, is from Texas A&M, which he got last October.

His father, Matt, also played at Suwannee before playing for the Seminoles from 1989 through 1993. Over his FSU career, Frier had 1,359 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
His best season came when he had 598 yards and three touchdowns in 1993, the year of FSU's first national championship.
Frier becomes the third member of FSU's 2024 recruiting class. He joins Albany (Ga.) Dougherty running back Kameron Davis and Blountstown (Fla.) High safety Jordan Pride. None of the three commits are currently ranked as it is still early in the 2024 evaluation period.
