Filip Forsberg sets Nashville Predators franchise record for goals
Filip Forsberg made Nashville Predators history Saturday, when he scored his 211th career goal to break David Legwand's franchise record.
Forsberg's historic score came with 7 minutes, 49 seconds left in the third period during a power-play Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It was Forsberg's 33rd goal of the season, one short of Viktor Arvidsson's franchise record for a season. It also tied Forsberg's season high.
The 27-year-old was acquired from the Washington Capitals, who chose him 11th overall in 2012, for Martin Erat and Michael Latta in 2013.
