You gotta take big swings on players that you believe can be true league winners.
Um in and, and again, I just mentioned it like you're gonna turn over like two thirds of your roster.
If you're a, if you're an aggressive active manager, maybe it's not that much, maybe it's 50% but it's a lot.
It's gonna be a ton of your rosters and, and like one of the things that I always like to do each year and II I write some articles on this sometimes is I'll just go back and I'll look at my most successful teams, right?
Like, um, here's a team that won a league and it, you know, it won 12 matchups, 13 matchups in the regular season.
Um The, the draft will be hilariously bad except for like three guys, four guys, but that's the thing about fantasy football.
Um And, and this is like a, you know, it's like a strong link, weak link kind of discussion here, uh that we can have with respect to other Fantasy games in, in baseball.
Like your teams are, are pretty often as good as the worst player on your roster, right?
Um but in football, um, a as one example, last year, if you drafted Christian mccaffrey in a, in a tente league, um you had better than a 90% chance to make the postseason in your league um, across all league types.
Uh, you know, it, it was still better than 75%.
He appeared on nearly 25% of league winning rosters.
Um And we often see this with the, with the top players in the game in football.
It's, that wasn't a unique season by mccaffrey for any, by any stretch.
Um It does not happen that way in other fantasy games, right?
Like, it's not, you know, like Ronald Cunha last year had, had a historic season in baseball and he didn't, you know, you could definitely lose a league with Ronald Acuna, right?
But like, it's really hard to do last year with Christian mccaffrey.
Like, if you, if you missed the playoffs with Christian mccaffrey on your roster, you, you are truly a dreadful fantasy manager.
You had like an all time bad fantasy draft or you were just a deadbeat and didn't play it out.
