Should fantasy managers take a chance on Willy Adames and Fernando Tatis Jr.?

SCOTT PIANOWSKI: You know what's fun about fantasy baseball this year? Drafting shortstops. There's so many good ones that we're going to give you a couple of conviction plays at the shortstop position. I'm Scott. That's Dalton. You've got the floor, Del Don.
DALTON DEL DON: Give me Fernando Tatis Jr. Yes, he's coming off multiple surgeries, including wrist and shoulder, and he won't be eligible to play until April 20th because of a PED suspension, but, man, Tatis fantasy upside is second to none. He claims he's far healthier now after playing with just one arm all of last season when he had more than 40 homers and 25 steals over just 130 games.
In fact, Tatis' 162 game pace before turning 24 years old has him averaging 125 runs, 116 RBI, 48 homers and 31 steals. Tatis is younger than Vinnie Pasquantino. He's eligible at both shortstop and the outfield. Frankly, I've never been more excited to draft anyone falling to round two of fantasy drafts.
SCOTT PIANOWSKI: You could argue the Padres have the deepest lineup in the National League as well. Willy Adames is my conviction play at shortstop. He's been a different player with Milwaukee. He fixed his eyesight. He's gone to a hitter friendly environment, and he's somebody who I think he's going to hit 30 or 35 home runs and the ADP hasn't caught up. People are still thinking of him as the player he was in Tampa Bay I think.
But he's been different in Milwaukee. Again, because he sees the ball better, and he's in a better hitting environment. This is the last year you can get Willy Adames at a give away ADP. Go take it.
