Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season is over.
And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.
That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 3.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we've updated this after the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles played on Monday Night Football.
1. WR Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers

The first round pick last year looked like a bust ... until now. He got five targets in Week 1 and six on Sunday, with five catches including two in the end zone. Even with the Chargers going run-heavy, he's worth a pickup.

A tricky situation should Isiah Pacheco and his injury miss multiple weeks. Steele might be a goal line back and Perine might catch some passes. But there's no quick solution here with Clyde Edwards-Helaire out at least four games to start the season.
3. RB D'Onta Foreman, Cleveland Browns

Sorry, Jerome Ford managers. Foreman looks like a back who could get more work than you'd like in the Browns offense.
4. RB Antonio Gibson, New England Patriots

Can the Patriots' offense support two running backs? I think so. Gibson ran for 96 yards on just 11 carries, plus he's insurance if Rhamondre Stevenson gets hurt.
5. WRs Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson, Los Angeles Rams

Puka Nacua is out for a bit. Cooper Kupp might be out for some time. These are the guys who are next up, and I'd prioritize Robinson.
6. TE Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

He went off for 109 yards on 12 targets and eight catches. Could be very boom or bust, but the boom is worth investing in if you need help at tight end.
7. QB Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints

The new Klint Kubiak Saints offense is for real.
8. WR Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons

He had 88 yards on seven targets and long score against the Eagles. I'm intrigued.
9. RB Kareem Hunt, free agent (for now)
