While Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins will make his season debut on Monday, another major fantasy football talent will be out on Sunday.

Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon will not play in his team's Sunday away matinee against the Minnesota Vikings.

It's a blow for Houston, as running back Dameon Pierce is also out for the Vikings game.

It leaves Texans running backs Dare Ogunbowale and Cam Akers as the next two up on the depth chart, and both should factor into the game plan as viable replacements for Mixon on your roster.

Both guys might just be available on waivers this week in your various leagues.

Akers is perhaps the player with the highest ceiling and floor, given his extensive production and experience on the field. He's got 32 rushing yards so far this season and a reception for three yards. We expect those numbers to go up this week with Mixon not playing.

Ogunbowale should also see more snaps, and it'll be interesting to see which player takes the most workload with Mixon and Pierce both out.
