Every time the name Brandon Aiyuk comes up, the Pittsburgh Steelers can't be far behind. On Monday social media was alive with speculation about an Aiyuk trade on the horizon. This brought out FanDuel to X, formerly Twitter with a hypothetical trade between the Steelers and San Francisco 49ers that we found incredibly interesting.

In the hypothetical, the Steelers send their second-round pick in 2025 and a third-round pick in 2026 along with wide receiver Calvin Austin III. In exchange, the Steelers would get Aiyuk. This feels like an incredible bargain for the Steelers, especially ahead of the massive contract they would have to give Aiyuk after trading for him.

The Steelers have been linked to the Niners all the way back to March when Aiyuk's displeasure with his contract situation first came out. Pittsburgh's need for a starting wide receiver is a product of Diontae Johnson being traded to the Carolina Panthers at the start of free agency.
