Falcons WR Drake London gets into minor scrum with Dolphins CB
There's a big adjustment for NFL teams when they go from playing against their teammates to playing against an actual opponent. That's why whenever teams hold joint practices during training camp, it's a safe bet that a minor fight will break out at some point.
It didn't take long for things to get chippy at Tuesday's joint practice between the Atlanta Falcons and the Miami Dolphins. As reported by SI Now's Daniel Flick, Falcons wide receiver Drake London made a catch over the middle before taking some big hits from Miami's defense.
First altercation of Falcons/Dolphins camp — looked pretty intense.
Drake London caught a pass over the middle, took a few hits and then got knocked to the turf.
Atlanta’s entire offense and Miami’s entire defense met at the 25-30 yard line.
Pretty big crowd with high tension.— Daniel Flick (@ByDanielFlick) August 6, 2024
Dolphins cornerback Ethan Bonner and London then got into a minor scrum and the two teams quickly got in each other's faces. However, it was broken up shortly after. According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the media felt the fight ended in a draw.
Since nobody got hurt, it appears no harm was done from Tuesday's practice.

London continues to make plays, but it was the Falcons defense that shined at the first joint session. Atlanta's defensive line gave Miami trouble and second-year cornerback Clark Phillips III had a solid day. Check back later for our highlight roundup from Tuesday's practice!
