Falcons DE Takk McKinley has feelings about not being traded

After the NFL trade deadline passed Tuesday afternoon, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley found himself on the same team he was on before the deadline. And he wasn’t happy about it.

McKinley vented Wednesday morning on Twitter and made sure that no one had any questions about his trade deadline feelings.

The three clown emojis at the end are a nice touch, aren’t they?

Michael Giardi of NFL Network reported that the Falcons were asking for a fourth-round draft pick for McKinely, which lines up with what McKinley tweeted. The Falcons drafted McKinley in the first round of the 2017 draft.

Not surprisingly, interim head coach Raheem Morris didn’t think it was very mature or professional of McKinley to tweet such a sharp criticism about the organization he plays for.

Morris and the Falcons will deal with it internally, but McKinley won’t have to deal with the Falcons that much longer. He’ll be a free agent at the end of the season, free to sign with any team besides Atlanta.
