What started as a promising offseason for Kenny Pickett with the Philadelphia Eagles suddenly isn't so promising.

According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of Philadelphia's 94 WIP Sports Radio, the ex-Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is in danger of losing his job.

“Might be time to have the Tanner McKee over Kenny Pickett discussion,” Shorr-Parks wrote on X. “Would be very curious to see them both get reps with the 1st team offense just to see who does better. It might be McKee.”

The Eagles may have seen all they need from the Steelers' former first-round pick, with independent NFL reporter Thomas R. Petersen noting that Pickett was bumped to third team in favor of Tanner McKee at training camp.

We'll see this week where Pickett lands when the Eagles' first depth chart is released ahead of their preseason matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday. It's safe to say that Jalen Hurts won't take any snaps, so it'll be the McKee and Pickett show, along with West Virginia's Will Grier.
