Tinordi, 32, signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames last month. If Tinordi clears waivers, he should be a solid veteran presence for the Flames' AHL affiliate, the Calgary Wranglers.

Tinordi's time with the Bruins started when the Original Six club claimed him off waivers from the Nashville Predators during the 2020-21 season. He would go on to play 14 regular-season games for the Bruins, posting one assist and 44 hits. He also made four post-season appearances for the Bruins, recording zero points and five penalty minutes.
Tinordi's time as a Bruin ended when he signed with the New York Rangers during the 2021 NHL off-season.
