ESPN's matchup predictor gives the Kentucky Wildcats just a 7.6% chance to defeat the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs in Week 3.

It is understandable why ESPN expects Georgia (2-0) to win. Kentucky (1-1) is coming off a rough 31-6 home loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks. Georgia has won national championships in two of the last three seasons and is 48-2 over the Dawgs' last 50 games. Georgia has won 41 straight regular season games including 27 straight SEC games. The Bulldogs have won 15 consecutive games on the road.

Georgia's consistent excellence is large part because the Bulldogs take every opponent seriously despite their obvious edge in talent.

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart does not think that the Dawgs will have an easy game against Kentucky. "We've got to prepare for a tough, really physical game, which is that way every time we play Kentucky," said Smart.

Georgia, who has won 14 straight games against Kentucky, is favored by 24.5 points at Kentucky.

The Wildcats and Bulldogs play against each other on Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET in Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky. The Georgia at Kentucky game will be televised on ABC.

Last season, Georgia defeated Kentucky 51-13 after building a massive 34-7 lead at halftime. Georgia has done an excellent job of defending the Wildcats in recent seasons. Kentucky has not scored over 20 points on Georgia since 2016.
