Upon breaking the record for the most goals scored for the Norway national team, Erling Haaland dropped a bombshell announcement on his social media channels revealing the news that he and his partner are now expecting their first child.

Accompanying a photo of the match ball from Thursday night’s goalscoring affair tucked inside his shirt and his thumb in his mouth, a simple baby emoji and ‘soon’ was released across his social media generating an outpouring of support and love from those in football.
