'What an embarrassment.' Another March meltdown as Purdue shocked by Fairleigh Dickinson.
Fairleigh Dickinson coach Tobin Anderson told his team he thought they could beat Purdue.
And while most people may have laughed it off — a 16-seed had only beat a 1-seed once before (2018, UMBC vs. Virginia) — Fairleigh Dickinson got the last laugh, pulling off a stunning 63-58 upset win over the Boilermakers in Friday's NCAA tournament first round.
As you'd expect, social media was nuts, and Boilermakers fans tried to digest yet another March meltdown as Fairleigh Dickinson joins the likes of Little Rock, North Texas, St. Peter's in upsetting the Boilermakers since 2016.

My 3-year-old, who has literally never demonstrated an interest in sports on TV, is mercilessly taunting Purdue.

The Big Ten hasn't won an NCAA title since 2000 and this is their best team.

Never seen a team so scared to shoot, to attack, to grab a loose ball.
