Durant (calf) to miss third straight game vs. Nuggets

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant is out for Monday night's game against the Denver Nuggets, his third consecutive game missed with a right calf strain.

Durant strained the calf in the first quarter of Wednesday's win against the Dallas Mavericks but still played 38 minutes, finishing with 25 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and four blocks.

Stephen Curry has helped pick up the slack in Durant's absence, racking up 74 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists in the last two games en route to Western Conference player of the week honors.

Durant is averaging 25.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists and an NBA-best 2.3 blocks per game this season.
