Where's Duke in the top 25.

Duke's an undefeated team and I get it that they don't have that marquee win on their schedule yet.

That a team that was left out of the preseason, top 25 usually needs to start creeping in to the top 25.

But Duke is an undefeated football team and, uh, look, it was a gross win against North Carolina this past weekend, North Carolina team that just gave up 70 to JMU.

Look, I get it.

I understand.

And it took three second half touchdowns after getting shut out in the first half for Duke to win that football game.

I, I completely understand Duke hasn't gotten a single vote in the top 25.

I could make a case for JMU.

I could make a case for Rutgers.

I could make a case for Iowa State to be even higher in the A P poll.

Some of these undefeated teams that don't have the sexy win that I haven't gotten the credit for what I think that they deserve for what they've accomplished so far when there's maybe other teams all, uh, Ohio State and they aren't really blatant about it either, but they're going to get the benefit because they're Ohio State because of the town on the roster because of what we think that these teams can achieve.

They get that benefit of the doubt in the middle of the season.

Whereas some people might be writing off teams like a Duke.

It doesn't look very, pretty offensively but could play spoiler to a team on their schedule because of how good their defense is.

We're going to find out a lot about Duke when they play Georgia Tech this weekend and I, I, I'll be ready to anoint Duke as a top 20 team in college football if they handle business against Georgia Tech.

But when you look at their two wins, their, their two wins that are even remotely impressive are Northwestern who's bad, just bad, bad, bad football.

And they, and they won a double overtime.

And then do you look at the, the UN C game and you mentioned it who that they, they lost to James Madison the week before and they had to, they beat UN C by one point.

Uh So I, I think that's the reason they're not ranked.

I will say Duke is an impressive story and Manny Diaz in year one and what he's done there in a short amount of time building some energy around that program.

And uh you know, I think they got a chance to, if they can, if they can beat Georgia Tech who's the best team they played so far, way better than North Carolina.

Everyone will be on the Duke train.

They'll be, they'll be six and oh, then with, with a, with an impressive win.
