DT Mike Hall Jr. speaks for the first time since returning from suspension
The Cleveland Browns are getting Mike Hall Jr. back on the field for the first time this season against the Philadelphia Eagles after he served a five-game suspension for a domestic violence charge in August.
That charge was pled down to disorderly conduct, and Hall Jr. was handed a delayed jail sentence and two years of probation for an arrest that stemmed from a dispute with his fiance. He was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List but was handed down a five-game suspension before the game against the Washington Commanders with the four games that he had already missed while on the list counting as time served.
For the first time since his return to the field for the Browns this week as they prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles, Hall Jr. had a chance to stand in front of the media and speak. He spoke about the incident, how his teammates have welcomed him back, about his NFL debut on Sunday, and more.
Here is what Hall Jr. had to say to the media (thanks to WEWS' Camryn Justice):

Team embraced him with open arms upon his return
Upon returning to the Browns, Hall Jr. stated that he was received well by his teammates. Here is what Hall Jr. had to say about the reaction he received when returning from the suspension:
"I'm happy that everybody accepted me after the unfortunate event that happened recently. Just moving on and moving forward and trying to get back out there and in a groove of things."
He went on to add that the team has worked with him well through all of it. He stated, "there is no love lost, and [he's] excited to get back out there with them."
Mike Hall Jr. stated that he is in counseling following the incident
Hall Jr. stated that he has been in counseling since the incident saying that it has been a "real help" for him. He is looking forward to putting it in the past and getting back with his teammates instead of the outside noise. Hall Jr. stated he has been in counseling since his time at Ohio State and that he will continue to attend.
Was still doing everything asked of him while serving his five-game suspension
Describing himself in pretty good shape, Hall Jr. stated that the only thing he wasn't allowed to do during his suspension was be around his teammates. Other than that he could still workout in the building, get treatments from the medical staff, and more. He sounds more than ready to get back on the field.
Ready to show what he can do on the football field
Mike Hall Jr. was asked what to expect in his rookie debut for the Browns. His answer is all about action and less about talking:
"I'm not really going to talk about it, I am one of those people who is going to do it. So for all of those people who are wondering, you are going to see it on Sunday."
