President Donald Trump flips coin before Army-Navy game
President Donald Trump became the 10th sitting president to attend an Army-Navy game on Saturday.
Trump officiated the coin toss before the game. President John F. Kennedy became the first president to flip the coin before an Army-Navy game in 1961.
Trump theatrically threw the coin in the air with his right hand. Navy called tails and it landed on that side. The Midshipmen deferred and Army got the ball to start the game.

Trump attended Army-Navy in 2016 as the president-elect. He didn’t think it was the best football that he had seen at the time. As is tradition, he’ll split his time on Saturday between the Army and Navy sides of the field.
